UIS launches new DynamicDocs app at APA conference

We've been secretly working on a new app and it's time to lift the curtain! At this week's APA national conference in Chicago we'll be launching DynamicDocs - a new approach to turning static plans into interactive experiences. While there is a growing list of public engagement tools to support planning, it's been a surprise that years after we've done our first experiments with interactive plan documents, everybody still posts their plans online as static PDFs that take forever to download, are tedious to navigate, and useless when it comes to presenting maps and charts. So we set out to change that and DynamicDocs is the next step to make it happen.

If you're at the APA conference in Chicago, check out our demo of what the program would look like as an interactive document at http://apa2013.com or meet us to see a demo. And even better, we have a giveaway over the course of the next week. Enter your information for a chance to win a free setup and first six months free hosting and turn you plan into an interactive experience!

CommonSights graduates

We're excited to announce that we spun off our CommonSights app as a separate company!  Ken Greenberg joins our CommonSights LLC as Vice President of Business Development and we can't wait to see the app support more neighborhoods and communities in their quest to become more livable and vibrant.

And if you're in Denver this weekend, April 13-14 participate in Doors Open Denver and find participating locations near you using CommonSights, http://dod.commonsights.com
